Around Times at Business Card Source
DESIGN
OF BUSINESS CARDS, PUNCH CARDS, and POSTCARDS:
After we receive your order and everything we need from
you, within 24 hours or less, we will email you a link
to view your proof(s) where you will have the opportunity
to either approve it or request changes. HOW
QUICKLY you respond to us determines how quickly your
job will enter the print cycle. (No job goes
to print unless you approve it. The exception
is exact reprints -- those jobs go directly into the
print cycle without a proof.)
ONCE YOU HAVE APPROVED A PROOF
(OR ORDERED AN EXACT REPRINT/REORDER): PRINT
TIME OF BUSINESS CARDS, PUNCH CARDS or POSTCARDS
is usually 3 - 7 BUSINESS DAYS after your approval.
(Approvals and acknowledgement before 3:00 pm EST.)
Exceptions
to Printing Turn-Around Time for Business Cards, Punch
Cards or Postcards:
- 2,500 quantities:
4 - 8 BUSINESS DAYS after you
approve your proof.
- ROUNDED CORNERS
(die-cutting): Add
3 additional business days to standard turnaround
time.
- UNCOATED 14 pt:
4 - 10 BUSINESS DAYS after you
approve your proof.
- 16 pt Dull Cover
w/Matte or Gloss Finish:
5 - 15 BUSINESS DAYS after you
approve your proof.
- Recycled 100#
Matte Cover :
5 - 10 BUSINESS DAYS after you
approve your proof.
- HOLIDAYS OR PEAK
PROCESSING PERIODS:
We may extend print times by an extra 3 BUSINESS
DAYS during the holidays or peak processing periods.
During such peak processing periods, we will NOT be
able to accept RUSH jobs.
ONCE YOUR JOB HAS PRINTED,
WE WILL SEND YOU A UPS TRACKING
NUMBER SO THAT YOU CAN CHECK TO SEE WHEN YOUR
SHIPPED PRODUCTS WILL ACTUALLY ARRIVE. WE
HAVE PRESSES ON THE WEST COAST AND IN THE SOUTHERN PORTION
OF THE MIDWEST SO THAT SHIPPING
TIMES ARE MINIMIZED REGARDLESS OF WHERE
YOU ARE SHIPPING TO WITHIN THE UNITED STATES.
NEED IT FASTER? CONSIDER RUSH
PROCESSING:
DESIGN: As our design team turns around
a job within 24 hours (industry standard is 3 days),
there is no rush processing in regards to design
-- you are already automatically getting the fastest
turnaround in the industry in regards to design.
PRINTING RUSH: For an extra fee, we
can identify the printing portion of the process to
be prioritized. The order MUST be identified as a printing
rush PRIOR to your proof approval.
PRINT RUSH Example: Orders
approved by 9AM EST, will print in two business days
and ship on the third business day.
SHIPPING RUSH: For an extra fee, we
can identify the shipping portion of the process to
be a faster option than GROUND shipping. The order MUST
be identified as a Shipping Rush (whatever option you
choose) PRIOR to your proof approval. Our standard shipping
is GROUND. If you want other options, just email or
call us (AFTER you have an order number). We can change
the shipping type before your order
is processed on the back end of operations and only
before you release the job to print via your proof approval.
Exceptions
to Design Turn Around Times: Our business
is based upon an internet model. A loss of internet
service or connectivity will naturally increase the
turn around time based upon the length of the outage.
(Sorry, we do not have direct control over items such
as: server outage, connectivity outage, power outage
due to weather, natural disaster, or a vehicular romance
episode with a utility box or pole). You should attempt
to contact us in the rare event of us having not responded
to you within 24 hours (but, you also need to realize
that service interruptionscould also
include an interruption in phone service where all you
would get is an unanswered ringing phone).
Exceptions
to Printing Turn Around Times: Even
though we have more than one press in the country, severe
weather conditions in the U.S. can affect printing operations
(loss of power or other utilities necessary for normal
operations). During the HOLIDAYs or during unusual peak
volume periods, RUSH jobs will not be possible and we
will contact you in this regard if you ordered a RUSH
job during these time frames.
Exceptions
to Shipping Turn Around Times: Severe
weather conditions in the U.S. can affect UPS and/or
Fed Ex operations. UPS and Fed Ex will post a message
on their web sites providing expected delayed delivery
info.
