Download the
appropriate Adobe PhotoShop template, design your full
color print job, and then send the finished "print-ready"
file to us for full color printing.
PRINT-READY: A "print-ready"
file means that we do NO DESIGN or SET-UP work to the
file; it MUST meet all of our print specifications
so that it can be transmitted directly to the press
exactly as we receive it.
The following Adobe PhotoShop
6 templates are available for download (these templates
are also usable in later editions of PhotoShop). These
are Adobe PhotoShop PSD files. You
must have the professional Adobe PhotoShop software
to use or open the downloadable template files AND you
should TURN-ON "View Guides" to see the guidelines.

CONSUMER
SOFTWARE PROGRAMS: Consumer
software programs typically do
not have the resolution (print quality) requirements
for professional output on presses. We, and the
majority of professional printers, cannot use these
type of files as "print-ready" and therefore
do not accept consumer software program files as
print-ready files. YOU CAN
use our on-line design system
to create and order your products via our "other"
website.
MICROSOFT
PUBLISHER: We
cannot use and therefore do not accept .PUB files as
print-ready files -- you CAN save your publisher files
/ artwork as a 350 dpi .PDF and send it to us via an
email attachment as a .PDF file (which we CAN
use). Scroll down to the bottom of the page for the
link to send us an email.
MICROSOFT
WORD: We
cannot use WORD files as print-ready files -- you CAN
send us your layout via an attachment to an
email (and we will use it as a guide to create a professional
design). Scroll down to the bottom of the page for the
link to send us an email.
Please note:
-- Bleeds must extend all the way to the
exterior dimensions of the template.
-- The cut-line is the closest guide line
to the exterior dimensions of the template.
-- The maximum text line is the inner-most
guide line inside the template. All text must be within
this area.
-- All work must be done in at least 350 dpi
and be in CMYK color mode (cyan, magenta,
yellow, black)
-- All PHOTOS that you submit must
meet our minimum guidelines
and be in CMYK color mode (cyan, magenta,
yellow, black) to avoid color variances between RGB
and CMYK colors.
-- We accept the following
file formats: .TIF, .TIFF, .EPS, .PSD, .JPG, .PNG &
.PDF
After we receive your emailed or uploaded file(s),
we will review each file. If we find any obvious problems,
we'll contact you, otherwise we will treat it as a print
ready file and send it directly to print without any
modification whatsoever. All files that require us to
modify it will incur a design charge added to your final
total. Unless you request otherwise, you will NOT receive
a proof of the print-ready file you sent us.
RESOLUTION:
All file formats must have a minimum of 350
dpi (dot per inch) resolution. Images designed
for the web are done at a low screen resolution of 72
dpi. Print images need to be created at a minimum of
300 dpi or there will be a substantial drop in the image
quality. (Door hangers and Brochures must have 350
dpi.)
COLOR MODE:
All color artwork and/or images must be provided in
CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) color mode.
FILE PREPARATION: Before
transmitting your file to us:
-- Remove the HOLE layer (on door hangers) and make
sure color shows correctly after removal
-- Save As: ProjectName, PhotoShop PDF format, ICC
Profile US Web Coated SWOP,
(next screen) JPEG, Quality 12 MAXIMUM, Image Interpolation

to transmit the original non-flattened PhotoShop 6 or
PhotoShop CS PSD file to us via FTP.
